Katie Shepherd Dredger, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of education and the Academic Unit Head in the Middle, Secondary, and Math Education Department in the College of Education at James Madison University and former chair of the Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English for NCTE.
