This workshop session is intended to provide approaches toward developing critical literacy skills in students, so that they can develop a "tinkering mentality" with words and embedded structures in our language. This taps into grammatical structures and usage-based systems that we as users of the English language manipulate to develop meaning and understanding while communicating.
