Which traditional rules for writing really matter in your classroom, and why? In this session you'll be invited to examine your convictions about teaching the conventions of academic writing as I suggest reconsidering certain rigid "rules" that we have to admit are myths. Warm-up discussion, followed by presentation and wrap-up discussion.
